About JEEP!

JEEP! was founded in 2005 by Rabbi Yaakov Karp, based on the belief that every Jewish person is precious and deserves access to a Jewish life.

JEEP is the only local Jewish organization whose sole purpose is to help disenfranchised members of our Jewish community gain access to Jewish experiences and life.

We find that such access can help people meet their daily life challenges, become happier and more successful members of our community.

OUR VISION: A Jewish community in which every person has access to our spiritual inheritance and can use it to reach their full potential.
OUR MISSION: To help local individuals with challenges or different abilities access Jewish education and connections to empower them to overcome their life challenges.
JEEP SERVES: Children, youth and adults who have learning differences, individuals who are in hospitals, are residing in senior care facilities, have substance abuse issues or similar challenges.  We currently assist 1000 Jewish people each year but hundreds if not thousands more remain outside of Jewish communal life due to difficulties they have encountered along their journey.

Volunteers are always welcome, and a critical part of our team.
