Adults of every ability
Shabbos, song and friendship, for every ability.
JEEP brings Jewish learning and Jewish life to adults with disabilities and mental and physical illnesses.
What we do
People with disabilities, especially people who live in a group home, can feel isolated.
Every Friday
Shabbos at Halom House
A Shabbos party for the Jewish adults with developmental disabilities who live at Halom House. We pray and sing together.
Every week
Drumming and art
The Halom House Drumming Circle meets every week. There are also painting sessions and projects, like the residents’ tzedakah boxes.
With the Federation
Enrichment
With a grant from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, JEEP has run an enrichment program for adults with disabilities, at the JEEP center and at Halom House.
